What does kpdc do?

Main thing we do as a club is cover kpop dances, and each semester, we hold a showcase to show all the amazing pieces our dancers have worked on all semester long.Our covers are posted on our youtube channel. Our showcase performances are posted on our showcase youtube channel.

How to perform at kpdc showcase?

Open class week is the week you can audition to join any of our subunits. If you get chosen for a subunit, you will be in our showcase at the end of the semester.More details for Open class week and subunit practices can be found on our Facebook group or Instagram.

what are other dance groups besides subunits?

Dance projects! Projects are 100% organized by club members. If you have a dance that you want to cover, and there isn’t a subunit already covering that song, you can get together with a group of friends to do it yourselves!! Projects are also invited to audition for our showcaseIf you need help finding people, we have a Project facebook group for that :D

New to KPDC?

Start by joining our Facebook groups and mailing Lists.Official KPDC subunit auditions will happen a few weeks into the school year! We have 2 main types of subunits
Audition Subunits are skill based while our open subunits are lottery based an open to all! There's a subunit for everyone! Subunit Instructions can be found here!All club members can start their own projects as well! What is a KPDC Project

KPDC projects are cover dances led by any KPDC member! Recruit members by posting on our Project facebook group!

What should I include in my recruitment post?

1) Mark whether you're looking for members with Open or Closed. Remember to change this once you've found all your members!
2) List the song and Artist
3) List the leaders (if any)
4) State your general goals for the project: Filming, KPDC showcase, any other performances?
5) What should people do to show interest? ex: sending in a video of the chorus or any kpop choreo!
6) A link to the dance practice (if possible)Feel free to look at past posts for inspo!
